Guac Burgers tonight. I start off with burgers on the old Century 22 (The Ironwood was busy with a brisket today) at 375 and I season them on the grill with soy sauce and McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning. I've been seasoning burgers this way for a couple of decades and it's been a hit with every guest.

I flip after about 12 minutes, season again and cook till the internal temp is 140 before adding cheese. Normally, it's sliced sharp chedder, but in this case we had some shredded left over.

Best all, is eating it with fresh guacamole sans bun. Great Keto meal.

McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning

Almost always in my cupboard... ya just can't beat the wholesome ingredients and how it's perfect for certain beef.

GM, did you do the "clarified butter"??? and if so was it bought or made???

Bought it. Melted Ghee and added it to the peanut oil. I noticed that the Worcestershire sauce did not mix well.

I also sprinkled waaaaaay more granulated garlic and I use Chupacabra rub (instead of Lawry's Season salt). I drizzled the peanut oil/ghee on it, then sprinkled the dry seasoning and stirred. I repeated this till all the oil/ghee was gone. I then also drizzled Worchestershire sauce on it and stirred too. While in the Traeger, I continued to sprinkle garlic & Chupacabra rub a few more times then stirring. I used a small pellet tube with hickory as well.

It turned out great. Very handy on a 1,250 drive to visit family and they found it addicting as well. I will make this again the same way. Good thing I've saved a bag for the return drive next week. ;)
