About to take some beer can chicken off the smoker, and let me say this....every...and I mean every...beer can chicken recipe I've found for the Traeger has been utter and complete bull shingles. Take these instructions, for example...

225 for an hour......ok, so far so good
350 for 90 minutes...ok, BUT IT HIT 170 IT IN 40 MINUTES!!!

Anyhoo, I think it'll come out fine. If not the other beers from the six-pack will drown it out.
 
Doing the Wagyu Tri-tip tonight, rubbed in EVOO, granulated garlic, and HCC Black.. ooooooh, so good reverse seared.

Starting a PULLED Chuckie Meat Sous Vide

3.5lb Chuckie, covered in Onoin soup mix, VacPacked,
Sous Vide at 165° for 30 hours

Tacos, sammies with brown gravy, etc.

Turned out well. I am finding the charcoal pellets are working just fine foe me. Has a nice hint of smoke flavor in the meat.
Loving the open flame sear ability on the yoder. Took under 10 minutes to go from 225 to 500. Pellet consumption isn't bad considering the temps
