Must be a day for freak outs, mine has been smoking a little out of the hopper. It’s weird, it comes and goes, not consistent.Houston, we have a problem, grill just flamed out, I was out walking the dogs, checked the grill from my watch only to see pit temp sinking. Came home opened the lid, it triggered a restart. 66 degrees out, overcast, pretty odd.
Smoked crackers? Do you do anything special (ie seasoning)?I am thinking a bigger grill is in store for next year for me.
A Jr. Timmy meal

Chicken thighs, pork loin chops and some smoke Cheez-it crackers....yes I am addicted
Using the FB for the first time after getting g it back from the factory repair. Seems better, not rebooting and temps seen to be displaying as normal. The screen does refresh every once in a while. Can't recall if that was like that before.
I posted a couple recipes on here for them.Smoked crackers? Do you do anything special (ie seasoning)?
I was talking to a Traeger rep last summer and he said he smokes Ruffles chips.
Good job!! Looks good!1st attempt on a pellet smoker. In the end, pretty darn good brisket. Learned a few things. Really impressed with the Lumberjack pellets, dont think I even needed a smoke tube. Almost every time I looked at it there was visible smoke. Outside temps really changed my grill temps overnight compared to other smokers I've had. Will change a few things next go around. Happy with this one though.

Mine looked like this, last part of the cook was TRAEGER pellets.Mine was a total blow out, clearly it attempted restarts on its own, overflowed the firepot, forced smoke into the hopper big time. I had to pull the plug, go in with gloves and water sprayer, pull it down, clean and restart, ARRGH!
I'm guessing weak hotrod.View attachment 6039
