Traeger v01.01.01 Firmware Released!

This was my finding as well. Double wrap of foil on the probe got me exact temps up high.
How exactly do you do your foil wrap? I've found it didn't help all that much (got me from 400 to 412 when the controller was at 450). I have the Pro 575 with the new firmware.

Double wrap

I wrapped the whole tube out passed the little nub hanging out, but I left it open. Think of it like extending that tube out to the end of the nub.
thanks! That's more or less what I tried but I'll do a more careful job now

Are there forum members who have the Ironwood and had the new update. Or is the new update only for the pro 575. It all runs together now ..... for which model and type is the update now!

I received the update for my Ironwood 650 yesterday during my initial startup.
Took about 3-4 minutes.

Weird I received an email from Traeger Europe yesterday and there they said that the firmware 01.01.00 was the last update. what update have you had?

This has done nothing to fix the issue with my Pro 575. I tested it yesterday. Grill was set to 225, RTD probe read between 240's and250's with actual temps being in the lower 180's to 190's. Set at 450 it reached just above 350. I've had this grill since march, it took me 18hrs to cook a 9lb brisket and I'm pretty much at the point, I hate my $800 grill, and will be calling about returning it today.View attachment 191

After the 01.01.01 firmware update was pushed out last week, I set my 575 to 225F and it was fairly steady and my oven thermometer was showing in the 210F range. When I lowered the temp to 180F, the grill cycled up and down between 160F - 225F but seemed to average around 180F. While running at this temp, the grill would start smoking as the temp dropped and then stop smoking at the temp raised up again. I am of the opinion that the fire pot has to be vacuumed out before running the grill on low temperatures and that even a small amount of ash or excess pellets in the fire pot has a much more dramatic affect on performance when trying to maintain temperatures in this range. Just my 2 cents...

That's great, I checked this morning and I still have yet to receive the update for my Ironwood.
