New Traeger Grill Announcement - Traeger Event scheduled for 3/30/22

These pictures (or screen shots, lol) have been on the web for almost a month. I thought for sure that they were posted here and deleted.

Pros - Covered Storage
- New controller with Meater integration

Cons - Side induction, I never used my side burner on any of my propane grills before so not sure if I would use this either.
- Meater integration for those that don't use meater
- No front shelf, again. But I am sure people will still make one.

Why would it be deleted here? You do know that this site isn't affiliated with Traeger. There isn't a need to walk the corporate line
@primeone runs a few forums for different grills/smokers that aren't sponsored by manufacturers

I think I like the new lid and top shelves. Looks like there is a little easier access to them than the current T1300. No way I'd pay that price, though. If I wanted to spend that much, I'd go with a Yoder.

$3800 isn't too bad when you figure that Matt Pittman will come to your house once a month and make brisket on your new Traeger!
LOL! That's $3800 in the US. I can't imagine what it would be up here.

Anyone camping out to be the first to get one?

For that kind of coin these days, I'd be going for one of these.

For me at least, the induction top and the meater integration are a waste. Being in the Northeast, I often do cooks in less than ideal temps, so I am not sitting outside to use an induction top I can (and do) use inside. And the Meater probes aren't up my ally - I am fine with my IB wifi probes. All this being said, I wouldn't say no, if someone dropped one on my deck as the new layout of the grates seems potentially more efficient. It's hard to tell if there's more cooking space than my T-1300, but since I already have 2 of them, I have plenty regardless.

Haha, that would definitely be a welcomed upgrade!
I would like to see a Pro34 that works. I have had everything that I think I can replace, replaced. My original Trager lasted 15 years without missing a beat. I don't think I have gotten 15 cooks on this grill in a little over 4 years.
