My Ironwood has been running for 3 straight days before my backyard turned into a Winter Wonderland. Now it's time to stay warm inside next to the wood burning fireplace with SWMBO and a nice bourbon (Belle Meade).

Okay, California has mandated that my local hospitals can't do surgeries until further notice. That means no eye surgery for me.

When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping. Two pork butts are in hand.

Grill Meister! I reviewed your Fireboard plots, looks like I'll drop them in tonight, 180F super smoke for 2-3 hours, then 225F super smoke overnight and complete tomorrow.

But which rub is the big question!

Yes! Will feast with friend and vac seal the leftovers.

Picking from a few recipes, scored the fat side, mustard rubbed, used the Meat Church Hog rubs, and injected with Church's Hog Injection to boot.

Sure do. It's still there this morning too. Sheesh. That's OK. Got some good pics for the memories. It will be sunny and in the high 60's on Tuesday. Woot!

Thats pretty cool. Our last snow fall was 2 weeks ago. We still have 4 to 5 inches!!

I agree with your thoughts on doing two at a time. My last cook on butts was for two and I thought the same thing
