What's for dinner tonight? Dinner ideas?

Question-
Anybody try poor mans burnt ends with the boneless short ribs found at Costco?

Wow! That smoke tube is still going strong. I only filled it about 2/3rd’s full. Those pictures are with the smoker already off for about 30 minutes.
I grab mine with a hot glove and put it out with a hose, let it dry and re-use the remaining pellets

Some country style pork ribs and jalapeño poppers. Stuffed with some hot Italian sausage, onion and some cheese
Jalapeños are on now, Pork will go on in about an hour

Country style ribs and Jalapeño poppers turned out great.
The rub I used was from this recipe. I highly recommend it. I will be making more of this for pulled pork as well. I am thinking of ways to alter it a bit for poultry

This is why I have a 6" one as well as the 12". Easier to burn a smaller amount for very little cost.

Picked up a big pork loin at Costco yesterday. Bagged 3 portions and put this on on the Traeger.

30 minutes at 450, then take'r down to 350 till the loin reaches 140 internal. Let it rest till 145 internal.

Decided to make Wisconsin style beer brats. Got some good store-made brats at a local butcher's (the 5 above) mixed with grocery store brats (5 below). Originally was going to make smoked brats on the Traeger, but decided to make the traditional beer brats on the gas grill.

I have been using the Traeger for grilling most of summer and haven't used the gas grill in months. When I opened it today there were a whole lot of critters I had to clear!

Also, for those into beer, I used an IPA from a local brewery.
I would of thrown them critters in with the ipa and brats. Protein ipa. I love the hoppy IPA’s. And sometimes them fruit flies love it too as they seem to find their way into my glass when I’m drinking. Did you use clear west coast or hazy? Looks hazy. But could be from the brats.

😀
I'm sure if there were spiders you wouldn't be imbibing them!

I kinda figured it shouldn't be outta the question to go 12+ hrs with out issues... but I'll let you finish the story
Ok, finely got around to cleaning the Bronson from the camp out. I was wrong, with good pellets it should go 12+ hours easily. Here it is before cleaning .
