Traeger "Must Have" Accessories - Master Thread

Any recommendations on a good vacuum sealer?

I have a Food Saver I bought on Amazon that is pretty basic. After using this for a few years I wish I had one that had settings for wet and dry food (I think that’s what they called it).

I have heard god things about Ink Bird. I use a lot of their equipment in the home brew world and they make pretty good stuff. You can often get coupons amd discounts if you look around.

It was my birthday and my wife got me a must have T-Shirt accessory…

Now that I'm playing with the big stuff, I picked up a larger, fiberglass, tray. It easily contains a 17lb full packer when trimming and seasoning! No more overhang, and it can handle hot things much better.

All trimmed and rubbed with the "Holy Duo". Trying it 24 hours before the cook this time.

Wagu beef tallow arrives today for the coated paper wrap trial.

For seasoning up any of the meats and keeping the spices and rubs from getting everywhere I use a meat tub from Cabela's
"Cabela’s® 5" Meat Tub | Cabela's Canada" https://www.cabelas.ca/product/80306/cabelas-5-meat-tub
They have deeper ones and lids available as well. Good for marinating if you have fridge space.

Or maybe this is more like the one you got???

Yup, fiberglass, it's rigid and heat resistant.

Bear claws for shredding pulled pork; great time savers.
Also, a simple notebook to keep your favorite recipes in. I wish I had started one of these when I started smoking meat, I have recipes scribbled down on everything, a "favorites" or "go-to" book of recipes would be soooooo much neater than the hodge pudge of papers I have now...

I have one of those, and they work great. I did add a longer dryer tube to mine though.
Also available on Amazon...
