I have a TRAEGER CENTURY 22/34 PELLET GRILL / TFB88PLD and have been trying to find a replacement controller that will connect to wifi and can be controlled via a phone or web application.

Is there such a thing? I cannot seem to find one.

Traeger doesn't make one that will work in a 22/34. I've seen videos on YouTube of people retrofitting RecTec Wifi controllers into their older Traegers. Not sure how much they cost or how much custom work/wiring is needed though.

Controllers are designed and programmed to function with a specific auger motor and fan motor and thermocouple. With the proper tools, you might be able to retrofit your grill with a newer controller, but the cooking results may not be the same. If the results are improved, that would be wonderful. If the results are degraded, you won't be pleased.

If others have pioneered as in the case of the RecTec controllers, at least you will know some of the advantages and disadvantages.
