HASHBROWN CASSEROLE
HARDWOOD: Oak, Pecan
COOK TIME: 1 hour, 30 minutes
EQUIPMENT:
* Cast Iron Skillet or Dutch Oven with Cover
* Cooking Spray
* Large mixing bowl
INGREDIENTS:
* 1 – Package of Country Style Hash Brown Potatoes
* 1 – Cup of shredded Cheddar Cheese (about 4oz)
* 1 – 16oz container of sour cream
* 2 – cans of Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Potato Soup
* 1 – Small onion (chopped)
* ½ - Cup of grated parmesan cheese
PREPARATION:
* In the mixing bowl, mix and stir the potatoes, half the cheddar cheese, the sour cream, potato soup, onion, and parmesan cheese.
* Spread the potato mixture in the cast iron skillet and cover.
YOUR COOK:
1. Set and pre-heat your cooker for 350 degrees.
2. Place the covered cast iron skillet in the cooker and bake for 45 minutes
3. After 45 minutes, uncover the cast iron skillet and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the mixture.
4. Return to the cooker and bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the top is lightly browned.
