What's for dinner tonight? Dinner ideas?

All those butts smoked on Friday night were pulled and seasoned Saturday and placed in the fridge after cooling down a bit. This allows all the juices to congeal before I bag and vacuum pack.

I LOVE the begging pup in the pix! I had to lock my Brittany in a bedroom while spatchcocking and brining the turkey because he was jumping up for a nibble.

Had to give the Traegers a rest today. Chicken thighs....still only $0.99/lb. at my local HEB while chicken wings are rationed, 2 packs max.

Used a BBQ Guru Party Q to maintain 255 in the egg for over 3 hours. I forgot ya still have to rotate the grid for even cooking, but they turned out awesome.

Thank you for a very good post. However, seeing these foods makes the tongue water. Next time I will try to make it myself.

A couple venison shoulders. Barbacoa style. Will smoke until they hit 140 and then move to a covered pan and probably just finish in the oven.

I have one hind leg quarter in the fridge on a dry brine for 10 days. Hopefully I can smoke that on Sunday

I'll be watching for this finish product... JAKE, I'm interested indeed

BAD ASS JAKE!!!!

My overnight 5.5lb brisket

I need this done about 3pm today, check the link above (eating at 6... 2 hour travel time)
pit at 200ish, 165° for the brisket now... I'll wrap at 170 if it gets there soon.

Don't know if it's gonna just climb now without a stall or not.
