What's for dinner tonight? Dinner ideas?

I have to try burnt ends one of these days. I don't want to use up a packer brisket, so may try it with pork belly.
Burnt ends also works well with chuck roast. Wife’s new favorite…

Chantilly potato’s goin on next, measured butter correctly this time, then melted it and added before the cream.View attachment 6265
Next time I do it, I’m gonna melt the butter in the cream, and mix thoroughly before adding to taters. I think it will incorporate better that way

Beer can style turkey and pulled ham. Used applewood rub on the turkey and Meat Church’s honey bacon bbq.

That probe in the flat would be better placed like this. The one in the point looks kind close to the end also. You want them in the thermal center.

Guess I’m not through cooking yet. Just got done chowing down on baked taters and pork loin, and the wife wants me to make some bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. She is at H-E-B getting the fixings…Poppers and a cold beer does sound pretty good…🤪

After a few weeks of heavy food, just making chicken this weekend. Here it is with a homemade rub and began smoking it at 190 degrees:

After about an hour internal temps reached 135 degrees and so sauced them up with a homemade sauce:

Raised temperature to 350 degrees and cooked for about half hour by which time IT had reached 180 degrees:

Excellent smoke flavor and very juicy!
