My Traeger Silverton 620 Pellet Grill (Model TFS62GVF) has a glaring manufacturing defect—a hole in the bottom metal. This isn’t normal wear and tear or neglect, as I diligently clean the grill after every use. Tragically, the hole has caused the grill to catch fire twice, severely compromising its functionality and safety. Consequently, it’s essentially useless. Despite my meticulous care, this isn’t the quality product I expected from Traeger. Their customer service used to be world-class, but that seems to be a distant memory. After nearly two hours on chat with Traeger customer service, they offered me a mere 15% discount on a new grill. I was shocked to learn that a $1000 grill is considered disposable. So, buyers, beware—Traeger’s product and service have taken a significant hit!
