They also have the 40# bags for $15. I wonder if this is a "you get what you pay for" item though? It doesn't appear to be a sale price on the site, so I'll probably stick with the Traeger stuff for a bit and then give some others a try.

I haven’t used traeger pelllets for over 2 years. Pit boss and bear mountain are MUCH better in terms of flavor and price.

I’ve used up all my Traeger pellets and switched to Pitboss and Bear Mountain. Bear Mountain is my go to brand. But IMO pellet making is somewhat like sausage making. As far as I am concerned if the label says hardwood blend I’m okay with it. It’s the oils and other fillers that bug me.
