Outdoor Kitchen Build

I picked up a cheap chest freezer from Lowe's (amazing it was in stock) and built a 2x6 wooden collar for it so I could drill holes for the beer shank, Johnson temp controller probe, and CO2 line. Still gotta clean up the caulk. Picked up a 1/6 keg of Karbach's Love Street Citrus and now it it settling after transport till tomorrow. Still gotta hook up my my keg coupler, beer line, and CO2 line. Beer will be flowing tomorrow.

After a long drought, it has been raining here every day for 2 weeks - so have been unable to use the Traeger. Rain expected to continue for at least a week or so more.

NO outdoor kitchen like the GrillMeister.

But, I do have a patio covered with the roofline of the house & surrounded on 3 sides by the outside walls of the house. And it has a ceiling fan.

Would I blacken the patio ceiling with the smoke from the Traeger if I used it as close to the edge of the roofline as possible with the ceiling fan running to blow at least some of the smoke out?

Good question. Mine is open on 3 sides and the distance to the roof is 66" from my Century 22 smoke stack and 95" from my IW885.

I also use my Big Green Eggs and Ooni Fyra Pizza oven without any impact on my ceiling.

The ceiling fan blades, however, need a good cleaning every few months though.

My patio ceiling is sloped.

The lower edge (where the Traeger would sit) is approx 10' from the floor.
Higher edge is approx 12'

Afraid smoke would seek the highest level & accumulate at the angle of the ceiling & the wall.

My hope is that the spinning ceiling fan would blow the smoke (or most of it anyway) out into the yard.
My Traeger Silverton 620 vents out of the back.

I will try it once to see what happens.

If I like the outcome I may also do it on very hot days to be able to better control the Traeger internal temp when smoking at lower temps.
