Lets talk Aluminum foil

Just got a two pack of Reynolds HD for $19.99. Works for me so I'll keep buying it from Costoco

I recently bought a roll of Great Value from Wal Mart that I use to wrap my heat shield. As long as you get the heavy duty it seems to be just as good as Reynolds HD. The 150 square foot rolls are 2.00 cheaper per roll than the Reynolds. Not going to make or break the bank but it does the job on my heat shield.

In Canada. Costco carries AlCan 20" HD foil at a good price. For butcher paper, I picked up a HUGE roll, 24" wide, at the Wholesale Club for something like C$30. I will leave the remaining 2/3 of the roll in my will to some deserving nephew. (This thing is huge.)

Yeah, Amazon is convenieent, but Sam's and Costco generally have better pricing if you plan on going.

One thing good about Amazon is that I can order an inexpensive item ($10-15) and have it delivered. We have been Costco members for many years and always spend $300-400 everytime we go. That is why we only go once a month, we cannot afford to go more often.
True, exactly why I go to Costco and Sam’s without my wife. I know what I’m going for, get it and leave because they start trying to distract you as soon as you walk through the door with a wall of things to catch your attention, lol.

I’m also in Canada, and have searched lang and hard for a bulk pack roll of what is generally called “grilling” width, which is wider than the regular length rolls, the small 25’ rolls are available but if anyone has a lead on where to get the bulk wider rolls I would love to get one !!!!

That and the constant rearrangement of goods throughout the store forces you to cruise more aisles looking for what you want.

I once went into Costco knowing exactly what I wanted and escaped for under $20. Some kinda record I think.

Have you noticed that Costco shopping carts are larger than those at other stores. Costco knows exactly what it is doing. They do not make a lot of profit on each item sold, but it adds up if you fill your basket.
