Just received Firmware version 02.01.03

My Silverton 810 just received the 02.01.03 update but still waiting for the new config update.

Do we know what 02.01.03 gives us in terms of fixes (aside from hopefully not bricking controllers) or new features?

Nope ... WiFIRE Status Page (https://www.traegergrills.com/status) is still listing the May Update Release as the most current ...

Nothing for me on Timberline 1300... still @ 02.00.01 (firmware) / 07.004 (config).

... and just like that my Timberline 1300 updated to T2.00.03 (firmware) / 07.006 (config) overnight last night. I'm pretty sure it didn't have a "T" prefix before? Seems odd. There isn't really even a 02.00.03 firmware on the Wifire status page?

I was thinking because you might have the AC version Timberline? But that should be at 3.0.0. Strange.

Yeah, it's odd. We'll see what others report back with. Mine is definitely D2. I'm glad mine has finally updated though... I purchased it on Father's Day and it has been on the 'out-of-the-box' firmware since then.

That is strange - your Config Version matches what is listed up on the WiFIRE Status Page, but the Firmware is definitely "unique" in its naming convention ...

Some day Traeger will decide to enlighten us with an update to the WiFIRE Status Page ... maybe ... hopefully ...

As an FYI - Gen1 AC-powered grills do not have Config Version files ...

After thinking about this for a bit ... my initial reaction from an IT/DEV perspective is that the T might stand for TEST ... hopefully not, but the version number is so far off that I don't know what to think ...

It's bizarre for sure. You might be right about "T = Test"

I didn't have plans to cook anything tonight... but I'm curious to test things out. I have had slow ignition warnings since I got it. Likely it is hardware related - but since I was so far behind on firmware - I figured once it updated I would realize the "Improved ignition performance" mentioned with 02.01.00+. When I contacted Traeger Customer Service - they felt it was the fan of all things. They said it shouldn't be cycling on/off during ignition, but rather full on... and they sent me a new one. I don't think that's right though - as it shouldn't be full on until it detects higher temperatures and it has actually ignited. Either way I have a spare fan now.

I'm on controller #2 with SW 02.00.01 out of the box. I've left it in standby for a week, no updates. I am working with support for #3 because this replacement has a WiFi radio issue where the signal strength drops from its normal -25db (AP is 6ft away) to -60 to -70db shortly after turning it on.
The rep said I had old firmware, but this is what it came with last month, and it won't update.
I just "Forgot" the network, deleted the grill from the app, and re-paired it again. It connected and displayed "updating files" but didn't actually change anything.
I'm waiting 48hours for a level 4 response but I was told the same thing last week and nothing happened. This time I took names and got a case ID.
The app once again says that the grill is sleeping while in standby.

For grins I asked what a controller costs, the D2 is $300

48+ hours since the firmware update. Still no config yet.
