Ironwood XL
So I just upgraded to my first Traeger today, picked up an Ironwood XL - awesome! However, I set it all up, loaded it up with pellets, and began the seasoning process, it got up to about 270° and then I think the igniter turned off or something? It just stopped heating and I watched the temp drop to below 100. Anyone have any ideas why? I’m new to this, any help is greatly appreciated.

I would try again I guess, set to about 350 and see if it cooks there first.
It's possible to have a bad controller, but before jumping to solutions, try again.
then call Traeger CS if it happens again.

Its a common issue with the new generation grills. They take a long time to warm up, especially the XL models. Both of my grills did not complete the seasoning process up to the seasoning temp.
