I don't know about you, but I find this totally unacceptable to wait a day or so for a fricking update.

I completely agree... INFACT today it still hasn't given me my updated config... I'll probably do a seasoning fireup today but .... maybe Ill keep it on to do me a steak but I'm not doing a long cook without that .016

Mine took a couple of weeks on standby. They really need to improve the app to allow forcing updates.

Thats really strange, my 780 updated immediately when i turned it on. Then again later for the config. Then again when i replaced the controller, it did both immediately. It was a matter seconds each time.
