Dealing with the same issues as the rest of you guys but on the plus side, I found this forum because of it.
Failed to download certificate files

My Ironwood 650 is running ver. 2.0.0. When I turned my grill on today I was getting the "failed to download certificate" error. Now, when I go and try to add the grill to my app, I'm receiving a "Network already exists in the system settings." error. Which is odd, because I don't have a grill installed under my WiFire, I can only add a new grill. Stuck in a loop here.
I experienced the exact same error. A way around this that worked for me was to download the Traeger App on a DIFFERENT phone and run through the pairing process again. Got past this error and it looks to be set up properly, however, now the app simply says the grill is offline. Spoke to the Traeger support line and they admitted that they are still trying to figure out what they broke during the last update and are gathering info from multiple customers to troubleshoot.

Me too. My 575 will not pair since the ap and firmware updates.

I had to update the Traeger app in addition to deleting my WiFi info already stored on the grill and reloading it. Everything worked fine for me after that.

Two weeks is unacceptable. I hope they are raising the temp to 500* with the new firmware so we can actually sear meat. I was planning to smoke a Brisket this week for 9 hours so monitoring from work will be a must.

Has anyone heard from Traeger regarding a possible fix or timeline for another update?

I sent Traeger this video today explaining what I was getting with the certificate error. They said they sent to their IT APP engineer for review. I don't get the feeling they really know what is going on, but maybe this will help.

Pro 575 here. Also having the very issue. Previously had it connected and running fine up until the update email the other day. I’m on v2 as well.

If it's bricking controllers -- why do they continue to push out updates? I'm afraid to even turn on my grill at this point.

Agreed! And that makes two of us. I'm thinking that I should unplug my router, start the grill and forget the network before it can update.
