Can this be used for interior grill temp? I’m thinking about picking up a 2nd one for meat & grill temp. Or do I need a different probe for it to work?

Has anyone had a problem with a probe not working at delivery? One of the four does not work. I'd like to try to just get a single replacement versus having to return and receive a whole new order.

I haven’t. Are you getting a really off reading or no reading at all?

No reading what so ever. Even when you plug it into any of the four inlets. The other three work well. I e-mailed their support first to help.

I’m sure you tried it already but did you plug the bad probe in the other inlets?

Sure did. And I plugged the other three probes into the initial outlet I used for the non functional one and they all work, so I’m thinking there is a severed wire some where on the inside of the sheath. The cables are quite thin

Oh well, I just requested a replacement from Amazon since it’s one day shipping. InkBird is based in China and if they were to send me a new one it would take a month. So I’ll just get a new one and send this back.

I did ask InkBird support and they recommended to put it in a 305 F oven for 30 minutes. But no change

D2 arrived yesterday. Charged it up last night. It’s in my Pro app ready to work it’s numbers. Probe temp working spot on. No issues on WiFi or temp reading.

I got mine today. Only concern upon start up (it is likely something I am doing) is my unit resets back to Celsius every time I turn it off. I have to go into the app and set it back to Fahrenheit. I know it's not a big deal but I don't like having to do this. Am I missing something simple? Is there a way to make F the default setting. I go into the settings on the app and change it but once I turn it off and back on it goes back to C???????

Not sure what’s going on there. Maybe an app issue? Are you using the Pro app? I just turned mine back on and it’s showing F.

Maybe try the Plus app? I think a few others here are using the Plus instead of the Pro?
