Incredibly frustrating. Purchased a Pro 575 and it has been a huge nightmare.

Just received a replacement hot rod and the pellets won't ignite. The hot rod doesn't even get hot.
I receive a "Slow ignition error", something like that and it never ignites or gets hot.

Previously, the hot rod just randomly went bad. It would say "Hot rod disconnected" or some similar error.
Just received a replacement and still does not work.

I've only had this grill for a few weeks.

Prior to that I got the whole grill replaced by Home Depot because the WiFire did not work and the grill would not hold temperature. This grilled I owned for about a week.

This whole thing is just a nightmare.

Anyone have any idea how to troubleshoot the hot rod not getting hot?

Hot rod it self is a dirt simple two wire glow plug. I would suspect that the next step is a new controller.

So all your hot rob probs are on this NEW second unit???
If so then like REM says, you gotta go back to what's controlling the rod....
Sorry to hear your problems, nobody wants this headache ... specially with a Traeger
