I don't think so. I actually tried that but it didn't work. Of course for me, I'm waiting on a new controller because nothing has worked so far. I did mention to the CS rep that I tried the hotspot and he said no, that wouldn't work.

Final fix. New controlller installed. Simple plug and play with the wiring harness. Still a no go. Called IT support. FINALLY got one of the lead techs. We went through all the preliminaries then he mentioned trying my tablet to connect. See that device only searches for internet, not roaming data like my phone. 20 seconds later my tablet was connected then my phone connected. Appears he needs to write a "how to" guideso every one knows this info. He said we could've tried turning off roaming data on my phone but this was easier so if you have no tablet, try turning off the roaming data capability.
