What's everyone using for a Knife Sharpener?

I have a few different systems and the go to is the DMT Duo Sharp Stones. Basically pick the grit you want depending on how you treat your knives. I own the Tormek T8 and that is a dream. If you visit Rockler / Wood Working supply store near you they have all the choices mentioned for the most part.

Absolutely , DMT makes some fine diamond stones, whether you get the DuoSharp or DiaSharp lines. The larger sizes do tend to be expensive. The nice thing about diamond stones is that they work with all knife steels, even the new super steels.

The Tormek T-8 might be the very best sharpening system ever invented for knives and various tools. For those with a lot of edges to sharpen, it is fabulous. It might be to expensive for casual use. I do not own a Tormek, but I have spent just as much on other sharpening systems over the years. However, in my defense, I also sharpen straight razors. The Tormek is not well suited for that type of sharpening.

For those interested in the Xarlik Gen 3 sharpener, Amazon has it on sale 25% off for Early Prime Days. That makes a good value even better.
