I know! I have thought of this. But they keep sticking around! If your kids will not eat Mac n Cheese made from real cheese, you need to trade them in on some who will.

Thanksgiving for us north of the border
Cooked on the Kamado
Brined the breast in a simple brine. Turned out perfectly, so moist and tender

Not the same presentation, but we weren't interested in dealing with a whole turkey this year. We had some turkey breasts from some deconstructed birds we did when they were on sale for $.95/lb earlier this yearUnfortunately, a turkey breast does not have the same presentation as a whole turkey. Although we only serve the breast meat as a main course, I usually cook the entire turkey. After we carve the white meat, everything else gets thrown in a stew pot and is boiled down until we can shred it. Then it is used for turkey Brunswick stew (something you might not have heard of in Canada as it is a southern dish), turkey ala king, etc.
Aldi had some brown sugar bourbon chuck roast discounted so I added a little rub to it and smoked low and slow for a few hours until it hit 165 then let it cool down a bit , brushed on some bbq sauce and put it back on the Traeger at 300 until it glazed the sauce over. Great flavor, simple to cook.
I’m like you I hardly purchase pre seasoned meat, although it was actually good. However I did add some coffee rub then a bbq sauce glaze. I would buy one again.Did you like the brown sugar sauce/marinade used by Aldi?
Normally, I purchase plain meat and add my own marinades and sauces, but sometimes you get a great deal.
We do not go to Aldi very often, but sometimes they have great deals.I’m like you I hardly purchase pre seasoned meat, although it was actually good. However I did add some coffee rub then a bbq sauce glaze. I would buy one again.
I usually don’t buy meats from them unless it’s a good deal. I mainly go for bread (loaf bread $.50, hb buns .89) milk, fruit and veggies. The name brand items are over priced. Being a Homebuilder and Aldi is next to Lowe’s it makes sense to just stop in.We do not go to Aldi very often, but sometimes they have great deals.
How you liking your new IW?
