I was cleaning my 575 and noticed the little grey blob of stuff fell off the end of the thermocouple. Is it OK to grill with it that way? Is there something I can put on it like a drip of JB weld or plumbers epoxy?
I have only used the grill 4 times....

I used JB Weld. It's held up through a few cooks so far. I did get a replacement TC from Traeger but I don't look forward to having to replace it. After a few cooks those mounting screws are frozen.

Actually, stove gasket cement sounds like the way to go if I have another accident and chip the JB

I'm going with JB Weld to get by for now. I'm going to get Traeger to replace the original one. Thanks
!
