Traeger "Must Have" Accessories - Master Thread

What large spatula do you use on your Traeger?
I got a folding pizza peel off of Amazon. Works great and the handle folds for storage. I also have a 6” x 6” spatula that came with my Blackstone set.

Pimp My Grill doesn't make grills for my Silverton.

So it is sometimes difficult to move or flip things at the back of my stationary Silverton grill grates.

I need a spatula that is larger & sturdier than what I am currently using.
It also needs to have a relatively long handle so I can easily reach the back of the grill.

I looked at the 2 models that Traeger sells, but I don't recall any posts here that anyone is using them and satisfied with them.

I also looked at a few on Amazon but would like to narrow down the choices just a tad.

I have the Traeger mondo spatula. Actually lifted a 12-13 lb. brisket once.

9" Oklahoma Joe's. My friend bought it for me on Amazon after I dumped a beautiful grilled salmon fillet lifting it with a regualr sized spatula. This one works great (no more fish dumping :)). Has a notch on the back of the handle for storage or opening beer bottles.

I wanted a chute to make dumping my pellets easier out of my Ironwood 650

I have purchased 2.

The first one is way too short and I had to hold the bucket above the wheel to get the pellets into the bucket. That’s not a difficult task for most people but I have ALS so simple tasks like holding a bucket off the ground as it is getting heavier with pellets is like running a marathon for me. It can literally wipe my strength out for an hour or 2.

I bought the second one and the length is long enough to allow the pellet catch bucket to sit firmly on the ground BUT the magnets aren’t as strong.

I will eventually take the magnets off chute 1 and put them on the longer chute # 2. Here are the 2 I have.

If you have a hard drive you don't need anymore, use the magnets from it.

CAUTION before you start.
Those magnets are very irregular shapes.
Not sure you will be able to fit them on the chute where you need them.

But, they are very strong & that chute should never fall off.

The cover I bought for my Pro 780 four years ago finally cooked in the Florida sunshine. A new one was 2X the price of off-brand, so I tried Jiesuo, Amazon recommendation, good reviews, half the price of a Trager brand.

Here we are. It is sized for several grills, Pro 780 among the smallest. But it covers everything. I like, being long, it extends below the wheels to protect them from the sunshine too.

The Amazon reviews said there was a zipper on the cover, but not on mine. I supposed they substituted?

I wish it fit better, but I'll roll with this one, better too big than too small. I presume it too will cook in a couple of years, and I can buy a Traeger one then or continue with off-brand.

What are some others' experiences with grill covers? Is everyone loyal to Traeger. Are there good off-brands?

PS Thing on bottom left is a strap for folding it up when not in use.

10" Beswood Meat Slicer20240329_085900.jpg

I do enough of my own luncheon meats and slicing that I figured I should update from the Cabela's 10" I was using.
I am hoping this one won't live up to the name I gave the original. It would be nice to not have to put up plastic to make the cleanup manageable. The Beswood gets good reviews on Amazon, but it does come at a cost. Especially north of the US border.
Might get to use it after the Easter 🐣 dinner if there's enough leftovers
