Better connectivity when you turn the app back on to check, takes too long and sometimes fails.
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.
Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers.
The app really needs an “alarm” feature so that it goes off until you press a button... when you’re going through the cook cycles just a “one off” notification isn’t enough. Especially if I’m cooking overnight I want to be woken up by the alarmWhat do you want to see fixed, improved or added to the Traeger App? Here's a few on my list in not any particular order. Right now it basically feels like a glorified thermometer app.
- Fix the custom cook cycles so I can actually "Add" one of my own. The + is there it just doesn't do anything.
- Fix it so the app can run in the background so notifications would still work. It seems it always has to "connect" when I launch the app.
- Stop focusing on the other app bits which are just a pathway to buying more products. Focus on the wifire!
- Trending and charting of cooks that we can see and save to learn from and share.. Similar to bbq guru sharemycook, which I still have to use because it's that much better.
- Alarms on different probes, cooker and meat probe.
Mine pushes alarms when the app is closed so I can't understand why others' won't. More than once I have accidentally bumped 'keep warm' and had the temps drop on me, I'd like to see that get changed somehow.

Yup I agreeLow priority, but an iPad optimized version of the app with landscape mode. I like the option of propping up the iPad on its stand and having it there on the table so I can easily glance over to it and get an update while watching TV, etc. The larger screen could also allow for additional features that just don't work on a smaller phone's screen.
Make little magnets with every pellet you have and place it in the hopper lidI would like see a place where u can type the last type of pellet in the hopper. I always forget what I leave in there.
how hard is it to make this landscape on an ipadAllow the app to go to landscape mode instead of just portrait mode. Also the ability to access the graphs of cooks for setpoint and actual temps throughout the cook. Be nice to add in the outdoor ambient temps as well.
