timberline 850
I've owned my timberline for 4 years now with very few problems. I clean my grill very regular but recently I have grease pooling at the bottom of my grill. I still get grease in my pan but I'm not happy about the grease on the bottom, these are high priced grill to be having this kind of problem. Can a person take off the side panel and grease trap to try and figure this out. Any advice would greatly be appreciated as I'm out of warranty.

I have an 850 as well, but mine is a Gen2 and I suspect that yours is a Gen1 being 4 years old. I believe that they may have different grease collection systems. Can you attach photos of yours so we can evaluate the situation?

I tested and tweaked my grease drains by pouring water on the drip pan in different spots and tracing the water flow. My front channel had too little angle to drain, causing most grease to burn up there.

Hopefully we can find something simple with yours, like grease build-up somewhere in the path causing spillage.
