SMOKED AND ROASTED GREEN BEANS WITH BACON
HARDWOOD: Hickory, Apple, Fruitwood, Sweet Wood
COOK TIME: 1 Hour; 30 Minutes
EQUIPMENT: * Aluminum Pan
INGREDIENTS:
* Fresh Green Beans (snip off both ends)
* Fresh Portobello Mushrooms
* 4-5 Strips of thick cut bacon
* 4 – Tablespoons of Olive Oil
* 1 – Teaspoon of Kosher Salt
* 1 - Stick of Butter
PREPARATION:
* Place green beans, baby portobello mushrooms and cut bacon in the aluminum pan
* Sprinkle with Kosher Salt
* Drizzle on the olive oil
* Cut up the butter (8-cubes) so there are two cubes on either end and sides of the pan
YOUR COOK:
1. Set and preheat your cooker to 180 degrees
2. Place the Green Beans, Baby Portobello Mushrooms and chopped bacon in an aluminum pan, and smoke in the cooker for at least 1 hour.
3. After 1 hour of smoke, Re-Set and preheat your cooker to 400 degrees.
4. Once your cooker reaches 400 degrees, cook the vegetables for 20 minutes
