Smash Burgers not enough "crust"

My brother picked one up a while back and loves it. If I had just a little more room on my patio I’d be in for one.
My neighbor has one and says he loves it. It replaced his falling apart cheap gasser.......so it's his only outdoor cooking tool.
I don't know if it would be worth that.....being your only one.....but definitely would be a cool tool in the arsenal.
My wife didn't think we had enough room for the Traeger on top of the Weber......she was wrong. But she'd be right unfortunately when she would say we didn't have enough room for a Blackstone too.

I definitely wouldn’t want one for my only outdoor cooking option, but for certain things, it would be nice to have. But, it’s a griddle, and griddles just basically fry food. If I could only have one, it would probably be a kamado type or even a kettle

I have a blackstone and it is a nice complement to my 780. Most things go on the 780 but I use the blackstone for searing. I also cook breakfast every Sunday on the blackstone, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, etc. love it for that. Some times we are in the mood for thicker burgers and I use the 780. Sometimes we want smashburgers and I use the blackstone for that. Like others have said it is basically like a large cast iron skillet and needs to be cleaned and treated as such. I keep mine in the garage so I never have problems with rust.
