Anyone looked into integrating their grill with IFTTT or Home Assistant? Do we know if there is an API that would allow us to get the details from our grills? (I'm supposing that WiFire is hitting the cloud which then our app hits to gather data)

I'm building a new Home Assistant station that has a 7" touchscreen and install in the kitchen, would be great to have the grill display on it.

I’m not sure this is available. I looked for my system using home bridge but nothing. It would be great to monitor temp on one app.

I have both HomeBridge and HomeAssistant servers running on RPI's and have been looking for both Traeger and Fireboard integration. Looks like the API's are encrypted, which is good in one way for security, but bad in the other way for us tinkerers. Of course I could be wrong here, but this is my findings.

Do you know what the skill is called? I couldn't find one that seemed to work with the Traeger, just Flame Boss and Fireboard

Ah ... found it on Amazon.com but it doesn't seem to be available to the Canadian skillset of Alexa, thanks

Talked with support via chat and over the phone, unfortunately neither avenue provided any clarity. They don't know when the Alexa skill might be available in Canada and no one has a clue what an API is so they can't tell me if I could build an integration for Home Assistant.

Will have to see if I can find the time to sniff the network connection protocol and reverse engineer the API.
