Should I buy Pro22 or 575

I concur with the Silverton, I have last year's model (no wifi) and the cabinet, shelves, and form factor are great. Doesn't have that generic pellet grill look either.

The wifire as others have said does tend to go offline from time to time but all its ever taken for me is updating the firmware on the grill which is super easy then upgrading the app which is also super easy.....
Enjoy your Grill....there are alot of them out there but only one Traeger!!

Help. I’m about to pull the trigger and can’t decide between the Pro22 or 575. It’s about. $200 difference. WiFi is cool but not worth the difference. What am I missing?

Would I do better spending the extra on a Pro34?
I was told the spare parts for Pro 22 are no longer available in Canada so I went with the 575

I have had both and the 575 is so much better, well worth the extra. Too many problems with the Pro22 and the 575 stopped all that. The WiFire is a great help. Not familiar with the Silverton but looks a good deal. I bought the shelf and I use it every cook.

Haller,
I bought a 575 30 days ago and it only goes up to a max of 450° regarding the Wi-Fi I have not bought an extender yet however based on other threads it looks like it’s Wi-Fi connectivity is sketchy. Happy with the product but as a relates to your questions proceed with caution

Save yourself a ton of grief, check out Rec Tec, a far superior product. RAY

I recently got a Pro22 from QVC (which changed the name for some reason) and am very happy with it. So is my daughters' father in law who has had his for more than 2 years. The cooking surface between the two is the same at 572. One big difference is that the 575 is built opposite of the 22 so that may be a concern knowing where you will be placing it and where you want the smokestack to be. As to the WiFi, I put a WiFi probe set on my wish list and it is well under $ 100.00 and also feel that it is one less item to go wrong. I can reorder another WiFi probe set quickly but I cannot fix an attached unit easily. It does appear that people like it on the 575 so your budget may be the deciding factor. My 22 has the updated controller with the two probes which I have found to be rather accurate. It came with the optional drop-down shelf and a cover both of which are often additional.

What problems have you had with the Pro22? That’s what I just bought. Should have done my research.

Big fluctuation in temperature, had to change the controller twice. Just so happy with the 575 it works a charm for me.

Craigers,
Your 575 should now go to 500* with the new firmware. I had to lower the chimney vent but mine was stellar yeterday. It rocketed from 225* to over 500* in less than 5 minutes to reverse sear a prime rib. Perfect crust outside and medium rare inside.
