So we are RVing on a 2 month road trip. First time I’ve used the Scout. Cooked a couple filets at high temps. Definitely hard to get a sear even at the highest temp. It got me thinking about smoking on the scout. Like we all do on our regular Traeger, we smoke all night and check in the morning. Does anyone know on the scout how long the hopper will last on average at 185ish? My idea is to put on a small tritip and leave for a few hours on our excursions, but a little hesitant not know how long a full hopper will last. Great forum. Glad to be a part of it.
