Wow when the great one starts having problems I get worried. I stopped using the app. from advice here and use my temp probe units. I do have one question? How the hell you shut the thing down without the app? Was all over the controller setting the other night and never found anything. That's the only time I go to the app. and arrow down/up of which ever it is.

Push the menu button for a couple of seconds. It should initiate a 15 min shutdown cycle.

Or push the On/Off button (with the white halo) and hold it for a few seconds. That sends it right into shutdown

Thought I done did try that onez , but cooking tonight so will give the right way a try. Probably didn't hold it long enough. And yes same with on/off I just hit it did not hold it for a few. Thanks All. Heck the ol halo never came on for the first 3 weeks I had it haaaaaaa.

This is shut down for the Pro 780...sorry.
