Random temps displayed? App V2.1.0b4

This is the first time I've ever seen this behavior ;
Set temp to 350F via the front panel and hit ignite.
While the grill was coming up to temp I checked it with the app.

The displayed temp was 355F but then began to update with seemingly random numbers 450, 120 just all over. The top of the app toggled between preheat and manual.

I force closed the app and even re-started my phone. It settled some, next I lowered the temp setting from the app. To my surprise, the app display of the temp setting began to toggle between the new setting and the previous setting.

I checked the grill and it seemed to be acting normal. I ran the grill for about an hour and also got cloud disconnect errors about 3 times. My grill's signal strength is under -30db so it's strong.

This has never happened before, have any of you seen any random numbers??

I've seen that app show BS numbers. I'll be sitting right next to the Ironwood and bump the temp from 180 to 375 with the app. The grill will update to the new temp, but the app won't. I'll kill the app and restart it and the correct setting will show. My signal strength is -64dBm which they say is fair, but my phone right next to it has 5 wifi bars. Go figure.

Ya I think they do... I haven't had any issues with my Android the last 2 cooks.
I am seriously thinking about switching to iPhone next month, but if it's being glitchy idk.

I also just don't watch my APP for very long... I just open it to change temp and close it, then watch fireboard from there... maybe the APP does do weird crap,

Yes iPhone, and this was a completely new experience, I need to investigate more.

Just seems the Traeger track records on updates in the last year hasn't been great. They tend to break more than they fix.

I made chicken parts tonight, set to 450F, cooking was completely normal, The app was stable the whole time, I wonder if something was up on the backend server.

Thats just weird. Did you try adjusting the temp once or twice to see what would happen?
