Question for Ironwood 650 owners

Once I enabled super smoke,it went up within 10 minutes or so.

Okay am glad the super smoke might solve it. I'm going to try it out on Saturday, I don't have time before

Spoke to Traeger about the gap on both sides of the lid and they are sending a replacement lid.

Just got an 885. I’m a moron, didn’t see the plastic cover over the thermocouple and didn’t remove it before seasoning. Needless to say it melted. There is still some plastic residue on the probe. Called Traeger and they don’t have replacements available and aren’t sure when they will have some ready.

So if the probe is reading right, then I can hit 500 degrees on mine. Tonight I cooked some brats after work and it went from Ignite to 385 in 10 minutes.

Also have a small gap on the sides of the lid. The Timberline has all sealed edges. The Ironwood is only sealed on the bottom - FYI.
