The App is flaky at times - when you first finish pairing up your Grill to the Traeger Cloud back-end, it will populate all the various buttons that are associated with features for any/all grills ... at some point, the Traeger Cloud back-end will sync back to the App the Grill specific features available and remove the extraneous "options" ...

Same Grill and have the same Firmware and config settings. Mines been on the entire month waiting for the update to get to 500. You got an incredible deal!

The ability to select 500 degrees is a function of the Config Version file value, not Firmware ... for a PRO 575, that requires 04.015 or later ...

I does not. My temp goes to 500 degrees .

Your Config Version shown in the screen shot is 04.015 ... which is the minimum requirement to select 500 degrees ... Firmware Version has nothing to do with this "feature update" - it is 100% the Config Version file value where this capability was added back in March 2020 ...

thank you for confirming. I thought it was the firmware version. I just updated it last week and then the 500 degrees came up on the grill and app.

Menu>settings>about grill...I can not remember if there was a update feature to click on or not. Next thing I know I had the 500 degree temp on the controller and app. I do have a strong wifi signal on my patio.

I believe it updates automatically with you go to the settings.

I know this will be repeated, but there is no way to force an update, it has to be pushed out from Traeger and there appears to be no constituency with that...

Leave the grill on and make sure you have a strong WiFi signal.
