Pink/Peach Butcher Paper Question

Bear mountain are my go to pellets, PB are my second choice.

Cheaper in price, greater in quality
I definitely agree with that…There is no way that Traeger pellets are worth twice the price of BM or PB. The only Traeger pellets that I use, is Cherry, and that’s only because I can’t get Cherry BM or PB locally.

Suggestions? I read somewhere to be careful with the pellet brand or it will mess up the auger.
My suggestions are:

Smokehouse Brand sold at Sam's Club. The have two blends at stores by me. 1) Oak - Hickory blend and 2) Oak-Hickory-Maple-Cherry. both 40 pounds for 14.99 USD. Seem to have less ash then the Traeger Pellets. No issues after 120 pounds thru the auger. I get good/smoke flavor (I prefer higher level of smoke).

Lumber Jack at Rural King. Many different wood choices (I use Mesquite and Oak or Hickory. 20 pounds for 8.99 USD. Good smoke/flavor and no auger issues but only run 40 pounds thru so.

Likely will not return to Traeger pellets as much higher price with less smoke/flavor and seem to have much ash.

Do Bear Mountain pellets also provide more smoke? Sorry - I know we had a brief discussion on these maybe last week.

My Traeger Signature blend definitely put off a lot of dust/ash as well.

IMO, Bear Mountain pellets have more smoke and less ash. I use BM Apple pellets, because my wife says the Hickory are to smoky.. Haven’t tried the BM Oak yet, but I recently picked up a couple of bags when they were on sale for $7.99.
If you are looking for a local supplier, Tractor Supply carries BM, and Walmart carries PB, both at much lower prices than you can order direct.

Yep....I’m less than a mile and a half from TS. I saw some BM pellets on there for cheap the other day but was afraid to buy them until reading about them here earlier. Hearing all the positive reviews is a big win for me

Is there a difference between "peach" and "pink"? I've seen people say both here and elsewhere to seemingly refer to the same thing.

I need to get some at some point and am leaning towards this. I really don't like doing business with Amazon but they are really hard to beat sometimes so looking at the below.

I got the same paper from Walmart last year in 24" width by 175 feet. Around $26 with tax and free shipping. Used a double wrap on my brisket and it held up nicely. I'm very pleased with it.
