OK, I admit I have a problem. I don't know how many coolers I own, but I am addicted to them.. ;)

In another thread, traeger860 at pointed out that the cooler below would work great for Sous Vide and RemE pointed out that the size would be great for resting BBQ. Both are they correct on both. Mine arrived today and I'm stoked. I have to smoke a brisket now... The size is perfect resting and even transporting your BBQ to friends or a party. No more towels for big coolers and no more coolers on their side for resting briskets for me. Thanks traeger860 and RemE!

Darn you guys....I need to stop looking at these threads.😁. I had added this a to my Amazon wish list a few days ago from the other thread with some positivereviews. @RemE has purchased and altered his, now @GrillMeister vouched for its practical uses as well.
I can see another purchase that I will just need to make soon👍

Peer pressure, lol. I never gave in to smoking or gambling growing up.
But I seem to enjoy all things BBQ and drinking and am easily swayed with purchases that make sense

I know it does, but it can hang a little while longer in my 'wish list' till I get rid of a few of the coolers I have now.
(it's getting harder to sneak things passed the "where are you planning on storing that, we got so much junk in this house now it's close to hording")

I am going to go and heat up my pulled pork using the sous vide I bought because of this site, and I have to use a pot because the sous vide container I bought after reading about it on this site hasn't been delivered yet.

And I love my Fireboard. It's a great tool. Works well when I am cooking on the grill grates I just purchased a few weeks ago.

Hell, I might as well buy this too!

There is also a bigger size of that same cooler that works great for defrosting turkeys or for just using as a regular cooler:cool:

They both use the same lid too. Drill one for Sous Vide and keep the other lid as is for cooler use.

Stop it already LOL 😆😁😂
I am going to be too broke to buy meats to smoke if this keeps up.
And now see what's up next on the TSC (Traeger's Shopping Channel)......

Haha I know. I always end up spending money when I read too much on here too.

Exactly the same for my motorcycle and the forum for it, so many great things we 'need'. I blame it on being a genetic guy thing

Ya, mine will be here Friday, I got a red one.

Now picker is telling me that I'm missing out by not shopping at Aldis AND I found out there is a Trader Joe's 40 miles from me.

I'm kinda wishin I'd a just stuck with my cheapo stick burner, this is gettin real expensive. 😆

Congrats! Pretty cool eh? ;) It will come in handy regardless of what smoker you have.

I got my traeger for free, as a gift and I can tell you if I’d had to buy the grill and all this stuff. I’d be too broke to pay attention....

Never used a cooler for home cooks. Are you guys cooking short of your goal and then counting on this long carry over n the cooler to finish it? I just leave it wrapped (butcher paper for brisket, foil for ribs and pork shoulder) laying on the kitchen counter until it's temp, probed through the wrap without release the juices, is down in the 150-160 range.

If I was trying to keep it warm until all the guests arrive, I'd maybe drop it in a cooler when the temp is in my unwrap range but I kinda like the drama of having everyone around, smelling and watching this wrapped hunk of meat and then being there for the unwrap and cut or pull. I get that you can't always time a cook like that so again, I'm wondering what kind of transformation the meat is going through cooling off so much more slowly and for a long time in a cooler?
