Here is a man from the Netherlands. I live about an hour from Amsterdam (most people know that ;)).

I'm not new to BBQ'ing, I have a kamado, but I bought my first Traeger yesterday. It has become a 780. As accessories I now have a cover, a pellet indicator and a front shelf. In America you have very nice accessories, for example from Pimp My Grill, but the import and shipping costs are very high.

The Traeger is expected to be delivered tomorrow. I can't wait to burn it in and put a good piece of meat on it!

Congratulations on your purchase of a Traeger. Look forward to seeing more posts from you.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new Traeger 780! It sounds like you’re all set to dive into some serious BBQ with the accessories you’ve got. The pellet indicator and front shelf are such practical additions makes cooking so much easier!

Congrats on your new smoker!

I had an opportunity to visit Amsterdam a couple of years ago and I can't wait to visit again.
Thank you very much!

If you come to The Netherlands also visit Rotterdam! Only a short drive from Rotterdam, in Delft, there is a great bbq store called smokey goodness.

Welcome to the forum! I’ve had my 780 Pro over two years and thankfully it has been flawless. I’m from SC and BBQ has been in my family for decades. I grew up helping my uncle’s run BBQ restaurants and now I have a couple friends that are in the business. I’ve cooked on pits, oil drum smokers, you name it. I’ve had a Big Green Egg close to 30 years and still use it. I like my 780 for the ease of use but it’s lacking on smoke flavor so I use my smoke tubes. Can’t wait to hear how things go, keep us posted and show us some pictures.

Made short ribs at the Traeger last weekend. I didn't plan things properly and started the cooking process too late. I had to burn the Traeger clean first because it was my first time. The short ribs went into the grill at 1030 in the morning and I took them off at 1830 in the evening. They could have been a little longer to make them perfect, but they were still delicious!

Unfortunately, I do run into the well-known problem, the grill connects very poorly with the WiFi and when I get to the point where the WiFi is connected, I cannot see the grill in the app... Very frustrating. I was referred to Traeger Benelux by Traeger USA. I just sent them an email asking if they had a solution. Fortunately, I also saw several solutions on the forum. If Traeger Benelux does not respond in time, I will try the possible solutions on the forum.
