Do you think it’s worth sealing my Bronson 20?

It’s kinda up to you, the ONLY reason I did my Bronson was because I had enough left over from doing the lid on my Pro 780.Do you think it’s worth sealing my Bronson 20?
Late to the party on this one. I believe that unless you want to spend the money for the higher end, insulated Traeger's that using a lava lock gasket to seal the lid and any other leaks is a good thing.Hey,
I am still debating on sealing my lid on my traeger pro 22. I guess my question is why do some traegers come with the lid sealed with a gasket and some don’t? Seems that the top of the line units have it. I chatted with a lady from traeger and the best answer I got about putting a gasket on the lid was well it didn’t come with it so don’t do it. Really?
thanks.
Did you use the same gasket material referenced above?Late to the party on this one. I believe that unless you want to spend the money for the higher end, insulated Traeger's that using a lava lock gasket to seal the lid and any other leaks is a good thing.
Just got a Silverton 810 and it leaked from everywhere so the smoke was leaking out before doing it's job. I sealed both sides, front, and mating surfaces on the lid. Insta-presto better smoke flavor and temp control.
Does your Silv 620 already have a built in seal???
The reason us 'lap over lid' guys do it is loss of heat and smoke, if your style don't have that problem then don't do it.
