Howdy folks,

Thanks to the massive ice storm in Austin, TX, I was without power for 5 days. I have a generator that powers the fridge, freezer and some lights in the house as well as the 2 fridges and freezer plus beer keezer in the garage, but no power for my Traeger's.

Well, I did pick up a Jackery 240 a while back on sale for $163 at Amazon, so I though I'd give it a try after the ice melted and it warmed back up a bit.

It worked like a champ. The Century 22 drew about 205 watts to get it lit, but then it dropped to 27 watts to run the fan. After about an hour to grill some Jalapeño sausages, it still had 76% power left in the bank. Pretty sweet device.

I bought the same one but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Glad to hear it gets the Traeger running though.
