AFTER I reread the OP post, I don’t use the supplied Traeger meat probe. It’s filed away with the instructions.I keep it in the plastic it came in, that keeps it looking brand new!!!!!!

I am sure submursing these sensors is causing most of the issues people are having with them....How do you all clean your Traeger meat thermometers? dishwasher?
No it’s not. The Traeger probes are like that right from the factory. No matter how many times you get it replaced.I am sure submursing these sensors is causing most of the issues people are having with them....
.. after you remove it, let it cool fora1 to 2 minute's, then wipe off with a damp cloth.
