Hickory, Oak, or Competition Blend

So....I'm doing Pulled Terryiaki Chicken, Dr. Pepper Ribs, Smoked Meatloaf, and Chantilly Potatoes 😎

Thoughts on pellet flavor that would be best? I primarily have Pit Boss pellets.

I'm leaning towards the Competition Blend or Hickory at the moment.

Since you are doing chicken (which is a smoke sponge) go with the competition blend.

Hickory is strong is good for pork & beef, but not good for poultry, fish, and other items that cannot stand up to a strong wood.
