Help! Grill is running to hot

Since my grill was screwed up in the beginning, this is just the routine I’ve gotten myself into.
I get it... (y)

Another thing to remember is the conditions where you are cooking. If it's 90 degrees outside and the sun in shining on your cooker it is possible it could be 140 degrees or more inside the cooker before you start it up. It's hard to build a fire in something that is already 140 degrees and keep it under 180 degrees. If your in Sacramento Canada you might have an easier time keeping it at 180 than if you are in Sacramento California, LOL.
