Does this Pro 780 RTD tip look ok?

Yes, I made the orange cap mistake, but the remove sticker was on the backside of the cap. I seasoned and cooked a chicken (luckily at only 225) before I realized my mistake. I removed the cap and this is what it looks like. From what I read, if it's reading an accurate temperature of the outdoor temperature, it should be ok? Correct? Is this how other's look? Not sure if I need to call support. Thanks

The RTD is only $25 but YES call support and try to get a new one for free

you can still cook but I wouldn't rely on it for your temps inside, I wouldn't do that with a new one either, but that's for another thread.
