Brisket questions

How long and how did you rest it? I used to just rest 1 hour in Coleman cooler with the peach paper wrapped brisket further wrapped in a towel.

I’m now resting 3-4 hours and seeing significant improvement.
 
I don't think there is a set time for resting. I give mine at least an hour but if you have found 3-4 better then all good.
 
I get my briskets from Costco, have never injected a prime cut...
‘I let it rest usually for 2 + hours...
 
There is a pretty good BBQ place in West Yellowstone that I have frequented a few times and the owner there told me he would rest brisket and pulled pork up to 8 hours.
