Cooked my first brisket on my new Timberline. She performed flawlessly. Little hotter on one side than the other but cooked this beast for almost 21 hrs.

Beautiful! I just did a 18 pounder on my 1300 for the super bowl. Ended up being a 17.5ish hour cook. She stalled around 150 for close to 7 hours. Paitience pays off for sure! Nice work!

Thanks for getting back to me. Gillette gives ys a razor but the bladrs are expensive. We bought the grill and get to use $20 on chips😳

I usually do a "Matt Pittman Weekday Brisket" and load a full bag of pellets around 6PM, then reload in the AM.
Great Job on the Brisket... My next one is a 19 pounder ( After trimming probably 15 Lbs)
Thanks to 'McClumsy' for the hint on the 7 hr stall...

Same here, now to find some tallow.
Easy to make your own!
But some beef suet ( not fat trimmings) from your local butcher, place in slow cooker on low for 5 or 6 hours, filter through a coffee filter, cheese cloth, or very fine strainer. A few dollars worth of suet, will make a lot..
Or you can buy the same exact thing that is used in the video on Amazon

Thanks. May look at Amazon as well now.

What do you do about a stall? Just wait it out? Mine is currently on and stalling at 140 for the past 3 hours.
