I have a Prairie 572 and put a Boston butt on it this morning. Followed the recipe and everything from the Traeger app. But somewhere between an hour or so my traeger over fed pellets all to the top of the burn box and read error. I’m not sure how long it’s been like that. I took everything out and vacuumed everything out and reignited it and now it’s on but whenever I put foil around the butt at 160, somewhere after that is when everything went wrong. I never changed the temperature. But now the internal temp is back to 150.

How can I salvage this Boston butt? I put it back on 250, still wrapped.

Just go forward, The wrap is to keep moisture in and shorten the fat rendering process. There still will be a stall in your quest for 205 internal. Smoking is a forgiving process.

So just let it run until it hits 203-205 internal and it should be fine?
Yes. The butt was eatable at 145f, after that you are just rendering fat and making the meat tender.
